Obbo
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Obbo dreams of gold...
Explore Obbo's dreams and complete platforming challenges to collect gold coins. Each room is hand made, but the way they fit together each playthrough is random. If you're stuck, or just want to make sure you see all the rooms, find a 'totem' and ground pound it. Collect enough coins and you'll see the credits and get a little reward.
Have Fun!

Hi ,do you know any tutorials teach me to make a platformer like this? Ones I find are complicated and I'm new to GM. Cheers.
Hiya! I don't have anything specifically to suggest on that topic, but I believe Shaun Spaulding has some good tutorials. I wish I could give some more advice and suggestions, but I am unfortunately drawing blanks. If something comes to mind, I'll reply to this post!
All I can say, is stay persistent! Making games is super fun and rewarding. I wish you the best of luck!
I really like the spritework here! having a bit of trouble playing the game, as soon as I press a button on either keyboard or controller I get this error message, sorry for the trouble
oh yeah, that would do it, my bad. I just woke up, but i should be able to do a quick hotfix for this, stay posted.
Okay, just released a change that should fix this... sorry it took 7 hours. (once again, I was getting some much needed rest). Thanks for posting about it though!
oh no worries!! thank you so much, can't wait to check this out!
This was really neat! loved the ground pound mechanic and how it was integrated into the level design, I think the randomised level entrances/exits got a bit weird with popping out of one way walls and such but I had a good time piecing together the layout each new run!
Thanks! Yeah, the one way walls and stuff were a trade off I had to make for the game being playable by the jam deadline - not intentional design. I'm currently working on updating the game (and plan to do so for a while), and I have pretty much sorted those problems out so you'll be able to make a more logical mental map of the layout. Depending on when I put the finishing touches on the update, you should expect to see that update sometime in the next 24 hours.
